We are currently seeking an experienced IT professional to take responsibilities of Product owner/Business analyst to join our dynamic team and help drive the

development and success of scaling geographically and feature wise. The candidate needs to be in Latvia.


Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of product Feature/Business processes expansion and harmonization within ALSO.
  • Perform Discovery and fit-gap analysis between different systems and different business processes.
  • Propose and Scale different components for each business process purpose, manage and control rollout.
  • Take ownership of Release management and support for expansion and feature rollouts.
  • Own process of launching and scaling products in existing ALSO countries and as well expand in new countries.
  • Coordinate scaling initiatives with different stakeholders and functional departments.
  • Be part of the product ownership team taking part of driving product discovery, development, rollout and measuring.
  • Manage and communicate the strategic product roadmap based on customer and market needs.
  • Acknowledge and establish measurements for current product state.
  • Introduce tools & measurements for product management metric tracking.
  • Drive roadmap quarterly plannings involving business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Regular reporting of delivery and product state to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the product quality by monitoring the state of product and create reports.
  • Identify areas for improvement, develop strategies, and execute business initiatives to increase customer reach.
  • Collaborate with development, design, UX, marketing, and other teams to ensure that the platform’s features are delivered effectively.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
  • Experience with business flow drawing tools.
  • Experience doing fit-gap analysis for choosing products for specific business processes.
  • Data driven mindset with approach making decisions based on the data.
  • Experience with product measurement tools will be considered as advantage.
  • Experience as a business analyst will be considered as advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance customer needs, market trends, and company objectives.
  • Experience with platform development, integration, and scalability.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.


Success Measures:

  • Ensuring the team operates without major disturbances: Limited Scope change within commitment period. Use cases and user stories are available to the team for estimation before sprint planning. All stakeholders are listed, expectations and needs cleared, and regular checkpoints established.
  • Ensuring communication with stakeholders are in place on regular basis.
  • Ensuring product metrics are established & monitored and proper decisions towards product development are made.
  • Quarterly commitments and plans are communicated to and discussed with all stakeholders. Product increase confirmed value after implementation of selected features in the commitment period.
