Clearstream is an international financial institution offering post-trade infrastructure and securities services for markets worldwide with more than €19 trillion in assets under custody and 2,500 customers in 110 countries.

We are looking for a motivated student to join our Client Facing Development team as a Frontend Development Intern. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our React applications, working alongside experienced developers to build user-friendly and efficient interfaces. You will have the opportunity to work with modern frontend technologies, improving existing features and developing new ones. This internship will provide hands-on experience in UI development, component design, and best practices in frontend engineering.

Your responsibilities:

• Implement responsive and accessible UI components following best practices.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experiences.
• Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing frontend performance.
• Participate in code reviews and learn about best practices in frontend development.
• Contribute to UI/UX improvements by suggesting and implementing enhancements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  
  
  

Your profile:

• You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a recognized institution focusing on an IT related discipline OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months
• You have basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML, familiarity with React is a plus.
• You have an interest in frontend development, UI/UX, and modern web-based technologies.
• You have a problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• You can collaboratively work in a team environment.
