Would you like to become part of our development team in Barcelona? We are looking for a C Software Engineer (Android/iOS) to join us! You’ll be involved in the design, development, testing, and distribution of our mobile SDKs for Android and iOS, written in C, Kotlin and Swift. You'll find yourself working and researching cutting-edge mobile security technology. You’ll also develop high-quality code for our existing and new software products, with high test coverage and frequent releases thanks to CI and automated build infrastructure.

Here is a little taste of your challenge:  

·      Work on challenging problems and constantly improve the usability of our SDK developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe models.

·      Develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality.

·      Write clean, readable, and testable code, and cooperate with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions.

·      Make our technology and our team scale as the business grows by delivering high-quality solutions.

·      Participate in the team’s life and contribute to decision-making.

Who are you? There is no set route to become part of Build38. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind: 

·      2+ years of professional experience on projects based on C/C++ language.

·      Software implementation lifecycle skills including experience with translating business requirements into technical designs.

·      Understanding of testing tools and unit test coding and testing methodologies.

·      Interest and ability to learn other coding languages and technologies.

·      Ability to communicate (verbally and writing) in English.

·      Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently.

·      Great team player, comfortable working and collaborating with other team members to achieve common goals. 

·      Nice to have:

o  Experience developing for Android or iOS.

o  Great experience on Scripting

o  Interest in IT security technologies.

o  Knowledge about cryptography and/or PKI infrastructure.

o  Experience with Git.

o  Experience with CI.

o  Knowledge of the Unix/Linux command line / shell.

o  Experience with Agile/Scrum best practices.

o  Team player.

o  Analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude.
