System Engineer

🚢 Systems Engineer – Full-Time Onsite in Helsinki 🚢

📍 Location: Helsinki, Finland

📅 Start Date: 1st March

⏳ Contract Duration: 6-12 months

In this role, you will be responsible for software commissioning of Propulsion Control, Azipod, and Remote Control Systems—working in the factory, at the harbour, and at sea. You will also conduct service visits to operating ships to ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commission and service Propulsion Control, Azipod, and Remote Control Systems
• Develop and enhance interfaces between software components (Remote Control System, Propulsion Control Unit, Azipod Interface Unit)
• Perform system integration and testing in diverse environments

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in PLC programming and system engineering
• Strong knowledge of marine automation systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize control systems
• Willingness to travel for service visits onboard ships
