Software Engineer

Strategic Staffing Solutions International’s client is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, and was originally established as a California C-Corporation. The company is a recognized leader in delivering comprehensive hiring support services designed to streamline workloads and address key hiring needs.

The company offers global screening services in over 200 countries and territories, specializing in criminal background checks, education and employment verification, reference checks, MVR screening, passport verification, and government-issued ID checks.

As the company continues to expand its presence in Lithuania, they are currently seeking a Software Engineer.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect and develop high-quality, maintainable software that drives innovation.
• Research, scope, prototype, implement, test, and document new initiatives and projects.
• Build and enhance front-end architecture to ensure optimal platform performance.
• Maintain and expand the existing PHP-based web platform.
• Automate tasks through scripting and CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• Review, debug, and optimize code to ensure best practices and efficiency.
• Perform validation and verification testing to guarantee product quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to enhance and improve products.
• Keep the platform up-to-date with the latest technologies.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in web application development.
• At least 3+ years of experience in PHP.
• At least 3+ years of experience in back-end development.
• At least 1+ years of experience in front-end development and technologies such as JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Expertise in backend programming including database programming and Rest API programming.
• Expertise in using MVC design patterns with any framework such as Phalcon, Laravel, Symfony, etc.
• Expertise in MySQL or other database programming.
• Experience in Python is a huge plus!

• Experience in Jenkins or other CI/CD pipeline tools.
• Experience in Cloud such as AWS.
