Security Operations Center Analyst

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to continue your career in a Security? My client are seeking a motivated Junior SOC Analyst to join its expanding team, helping to protect critical information assets and maintain a secure and resilient infrastructure.


What you'll be doing:

  • Monitor and analyse security alerts and events from intrusion detection systems (IDS), firewalls and SIEM tools to identify potential threats.
  • Perform initial triage and analysis of security incidents, escalating them to senior analysts as needed.
  • Assist with the investigation of security breaches and help document findings.
  • Support the deployment, configuration and management of security tools and technologies.
  • Work closely with IT teams to address vulnerabilities and improve the overall security landscape.
  • Document security incidents, create incident tickets and compile detailed reports.
  • Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats, trends and technologies.


Your background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field alternatively equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS antivirus and SIEM systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • A proactive approach to learning and staying up-to-date in the cybersecurity space.
