Exciting opportunity for Java Engineers and Developers of all levels (mid, senior and lead) to join Novon, working with one of our longest standing enterprise level clients. You will join a squad of Java Engineers and Developers working in an agile environment, supporting regulatory reporting. The best suited applicants will be able to design, develop, and maintain services for regulatory reporting in a finance or banking environment. You should have experience deploying microservices architecture in a cloud environment and be motivated by innovation in a critical business environment.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of Java and up to date with the latest Java version
  • Cloud: AWS experience, docker, microservices, Kubernetes
  • Sound knowledge of JMS, Rest API, Spring, Spring-boot, relational database, SQL
  • Experience with Intellij, Git, basic understanding of Linux and experience in shell
  • Build: Gradle, Maven, Bamboo
  • Understanding/zeal to learn new tools – ArgoCD, Grafana, Splunk
  • Best coding practices, patterns, and design acumen. Understanding of when and how of micro-services design patterns.
  • Testing: JUnit, Spock, Mockito
  • Domain knowledge in regulatory reporting will be a plus
  • Nice to have: Sonar
