Are you studying UX design and ready to hit your professional career with Konecranes Summer Trainee team of 2025? Do you want to gain valuable experience from user centric design in an international work environment? We might have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for a Summer Trainee, UX/UI Designer to join our inhouse Design team in Finland. As a UX/UI Designer you will be working with web and mobile application digital services by using user centric design methods, concepting, wireframing, prototyping and in collaboration with digital development teams. Your daily responsibilities include for example understanding user needs, creating UI wireframes and mock-ups in Figma, presenting designs for stakeholders. You will work closely with UX team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of the industry and gain experience in UX/UI design. The job is located either in Hyvinkää or in Espoo, Keilaniemi, and includes a possibility to work partly remotely on demand.

Qualifications

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a UX design student who is eager to learn more about digital service design tasks in industry context. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

What should you bring?

• BA or equivalent studie background in UX / Industrial design, preferably Master level student or recently graduated
• Mastering the Figma in professional or high level and how to apply it to UX/UI design.
• Proficient level of Adobe Creative tools and Office softwares
• Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
