Arcadia is a non-profit, international non-governmental organisation with a global presence, comprising 238 members from all seven continents. Founded and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, Arcadia is dedicated to two core missions:

Our primary mission is to make university-level education accessible to everyone, irrespective of financial, social, geographical, or political barriers. We strive for academic excellence and aim to diminish the limitations of education, ensuring that high-quality education is available to all. Our secondary mission is to foster a global appreciation and support for art. 

At Arcadia, our academic team consists of over 70 international writers who contribute to Higher Education-level academic articles across a myriad of disciplines. Our commitment to sharing knowledge free or without subscriptions ensures that everyone, everywhere, can benefit from our collective expertise. Who We Are Recruiting For Position? 


We, at Arcadia, are looking for people who are interested in the recruitment field. We will be hiring 1 person for the HR Recruitment Manager position: 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Onboarding and training HR Recruitment Officers, mentoring and guiding the recruitment team.
  • Close collaboration with other HR executives, including the HR Director, HR Training and Development Director, and the Chief Strategy Officer.
  • Weekly reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer, sharing insights and updates on your team's activities.  
  • Your activities will be subject to final approval by both the CHRO and the Chief Strategy Officer, ensuring alignment with our weekly and monthly strategic initiatives.

What Are Our Requirements For The Position? 


  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Human Resource Management, International Relations or a related discipline or a Bachelor's with at least 5 years of management experience in the recruitment field. 
  • Extensive knowledge of human resources principles and practices, including recruiting, hiring, and member relations.
  • Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate the qualifications and experience of potential candidates and make informed decisions 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to work on Saturdays with flexible shifts to support the interviews
  • A desire to advance your career in the human resources field, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. 
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and inclusion. 
  • The highest standards of integrity, discretion, confidentiality and handling sensitive information. 


Soft Skills & Strong Skills 


In-depth knowledge of human resources principles and practices: Solid understanding of the principles and practices that guide effective recruitment and hiring processes. Understanding how to identify and evaluate potential candidates, as well as how to develop and implement recruitment strategies. 

Experience using LinkedIn and other recruitment tools and platforms: The ability to effectively use LinkedIn and other recruitment tools and platforms is crucial for Arcadia. Guiding your team effectively on these tools to post job ads, and communicate with potential hires.

Strong communication skills: Excellent communication skills, as the role involves frequent interaction with members and other stakeholders globally. Ability to communicate ideas through speaking, writing, and listening, as well as the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences. 

Proficiency with data management and reporting: Strong attention to detail, and ability to accurately maintain data, preparing weekly reports and other documents related to efficiency and recruitment policies. Solid presentation preparations and presentation skills with strong usage of Google Drive. 

Interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport: Ability to build rapport with recruitment officers and candidates to increase efficiency. To establish trust and credibility, to listen actively and respond appropriately to needs and concerns. 

Conflict resolution skills: You may encounter conflicts or challenges during the management process of recruitment officers, and it is important to have strong conflict resolution skills to effectively handle and resolve these situations.
