Our client has acquired a new product to diversify their successful portfolio in the market. They are now searching for an experienced Head of Software Development to play a key role in leading the agile teams, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution, and driving continuous improvements in the development process.

Tasks as Head of Software Development:

• Lead and manage the software development team, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and career development.
• Define and implement the software development strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure best practices are followed, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including Product Management and QA, to define product requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in C#.NET and the software development field.

Requirements for Head of Software Development position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior software development role, ideally with experience managing or leading a team.
• Strong expertise in C#.NET including ASP.NET and .NET Core.
• Experience with cloud platforms and Microservice Architectures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
