Java Software Engineer

Are you a skilled software engineer with a passion for building scalable, high-quality applications? We’re looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team and take ownership of key technical projects in our Order Platform.

As a Software Engineer II, you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions. You will work across the entire software lifecycle — from designing robust systems to troubleshooting and improving live production services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using Java (17+), Maven, and related technologies.
• End-to-End Ownership: Own services from development to production, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Incident Management: Quickly address and resolve live production issues, working towards long-term solutions.
• System Design: Contribute to the design of scalable and adaptable software solutions aligned with business needs.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive automation, testing, and process improvements to ensure top-quality service delivery.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions based on business requirements.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Java (17+), Spring/DropWizard, and Maven.
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS (EKS, S3), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in REST APIs, GraphQL, and API lifecycle management.
• Proficient in unit and integration testing with CI/CD tools.
• Familiar with Grafana, Grafana Loki, Open Telemetry, and distributed tracing (e.g., Honeycomb).
• Knowledge of Canary deployments and OpenAPI specifications.
