What Awaits You

• Development and maintenance of high-performance backend systems with Spring Boot and Java 21 (or older, at least Java 8)
• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs using OpenAPI
• Database modeling and optimization with SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
• Containerization and deployment with Docker
• Ensuring code quality through testing, reviews and best practices
• Documentation of system architectures and development processes with Jira and Confluence
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize development processes
  
  

Your profile

Must-haves

• Solid experience in development with Spring Boot and Java 8+ (21 at best)
• Confident use of SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of OpenAPI and development of REST interfaces
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Basic knowledge of Jira and Confluence
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with Kubernetes to orchestrate containers
• Knowledge of SOAP interfaces
• Experience with Kafka for asynchronous message processing
• Familiarity with arc42 for architecture documentation
• Basic knowledge of modern JavaScript web frameworks (Vue.js, Angular or React)
