Information Technology Engineer

UpCloud is growing, and we’re looking for an IT Engineer to join our Central Operations function in Helsinki! You’d join our small & talented IT team maintaining and developing our internal IT service portfolio, including core productivity tools, end-user devices and underlying services — essentially supporting all our employees to work as smoothly as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Contributing to improving our core IT Services, in the spirit of continuous improvement
• Our core IT Services include Business Suite apps (Google Workspace), Identity and Access management platform (Okta) and task management platform (Asana), along with other important services.
• Day-to-day operations of our Internal IT, providing assistance and support to our organisation and your colleagues.
• Managing our IT procurement processes and SaaS services.
• Maintaining our growing fleet of endpoint devices, ranging from employee device management to office-IT in Helsinki.

Who are we looking for?

Ideally we’re looking for a troubleshooting and service-oriented person, with experience in a similar environment to ours, a tech scale-up. You don’t necessarily have to have extensive previous experience in a similar role, as you’ll be able to learn a ton here, but we do expect some relevant background.

Job requirements

• Hands-on experience in a role, where you've helped internal teams or external customers with internal IT or technical support issues.
• Familiarity with service integrations and collaboration with SaaS service management
• Soft skills - Good communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Location: Helsinki, Aleksanterinkatu. We intend this role to be mostly on-site role but our team works flexibly. Our office is located in central Helsinki.

Bonuses:

• Experience in working with IAM solutions
• Experience with Google Workspace or M365 administration
• Experience working in or for a technology scale-up company
