We are looking for a Python Developer for a hybrid project based in Oporto.

Key Responsibilities

· Create / maintain Python and deploy web applications using Django.

· Create / maintain Python scripts that collect monitoring data and provide task automation

· Perform code review.

· Optimize and refactor existing code.

· Work with other engineers to containerize applications to deploy on Kubernetes and Docker.

· Perform routine maintenance on our various monitoring platforms.

Required Experience

· 2+ years of Python Web development using Django and Asyncio framework.

· Advanced knowledge of Git / Gitlab.

· Advanced knowledge of setting up Highly Available application using technologies like load balancers Nginx/ Keepalived.

· Knowledge of multithreading concepts.

· Good understanding of MySQL databases.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Good communication skills.

· Team player.

Desirable Qualifications

· Experience operating python applications in Docker / Kubernetes

· Experience deploying applications into public cloud.

· Development on Uvicorn / Gunicorn.

· Experience of work with JavaScript. Our existing applications has backend on Python and frontend on JavaScript.

· AWS / GCP experience.

· Understand and experience working with messaging systems (Kafka, Redis).
