About The Business

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines for AI and machine learning applications in an enterprise/manufacturing environment.
  • Collect, clean, transform, and organize large datasets from various internal and external sources.
  • Collaborate with AI Scientists, Application Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Develop and maintain data lake and data warehouse solutions, ensuring scalability and security.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools/technologies for data management and processing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience, demonstrated expertise in building large-scale data pipelines and data warehousing solutions. Strong knowledge of distributed computing frameworks and real-time data processing.
  • Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Desired Experience Level

    Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage and processing.

    Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.

    Exposure to manufacturing data (IoT, sensors, MES systems).
