React Web Developer | Australia | Hybrid / Offsite / Remote | Citizens

Job Description:

The department requires a React Web Developer to lead on the development of a web platform.

Key knowledge, skills or experience areas include:

1. Demonstrated strong experience in application design and development in React Single-Page Application (SPA) including state-management, routing, responsive design etc.

2. Strong proficiency in the following technologies:

o React

o TypeScript

o JavaScript/ES6

o Typescript

o Webpack

o SASS/CSS

o Git

o Service Workers

3. Experience with Amazon Web Services (including Amplify) and CDNs (including Cloudflare) would be highly regarded.

4. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with stakeholders.

5. Ability to make decisions transparently and collaboratively.

6. Ability to communicate effectively and with influence.

7. Ensures closure and delivers on intended results.

8. Steers and implements change and deals with uncertainty.

9. Shows judgment, intelligence and common-sense.

Essential Criteria:

1. Indicative duties include, but are not limited to:

2. Lead React front end web development collaborating actively with stakeholders.

3. Apply Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) fundamentals across the React application.

4. Develop, deliver, and maintain React based integration with security services.

5. Develop, deliver, and maintain a backend CRM-like interface for exercise content owners and improve data models to support stronger standardisation.

6. Develop, deliver, and maintain a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipeline for the front-end web that includes automated testing, security checks and producing security artefacts such as a SBOM.

7. Support security documentation efforts.

8. Produce detailed design documentation.

9. Amend the web platforms front end codebase to align content with ACSC cyber security protocols.

10. Install, configure and support any future web platform releases throughout the duration of this contract.

11. Provide reports on accomplishments, incidents, and problems.

12. Assist with other aspects of the section’s workload as required.
