Ecommerce Business Analyst

We are currently looking for Ecommerce Business Analyst (Magento) to join our growing team in Romania. 

Responsibilities: 

• Work on broad, highly visible, strategic software development projects in an extremely complex and evolving technical and business environment. 
• Core to the role will be process mapping of business activities, working with the business to identify areas of improvement. 
• Identification of business requirements, captured and included in high level business and IT design as well as project planning. 
• Establishing and documenting functional and non-functional requirements 
• Contribute to the understanding of business priorities. 
• Where required, work with stakeholders from business and technology to research and define solutions to business problems. 
• Creation, review, and maintenance of process documentation 
• Conduct gap analysis on proposed business/system changes 
• Analyse business requirements to elicit needs and translate these into prioritised requirements. 
• Manage requirements throughout the project life cycle. 
• Work with Architects, Product Leaders, and other key stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions align with architectural and business roadmaps. 
• Analyse business use cases and write or support the team in writing user stories to accomplish the goals of the product/project. 
• Coordinate testing efforts with given timelines 
• Provide training and mentoring to members. This includes effective onboarding for new employees, training members on new methodologies, guidelines, and best practices. 
• Interview candidates if needed 

Qualifications: 

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and working experience. 
• 4+ years of working experience as Business Analyst. 
• Experience in business/systems analysis and gap analysis 
• Have knowledge of Adobe Commerce, Ecommerce b2c, Magento 
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and with strict attention to detail. 
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal cross-functional teams. 
• Ability to understand and manage customer expectations and software implementation methodology. 
• Ability to document technical/ business requirements and troubleshoot errors. 
• Creative in manual testing with fast bug detection through exploratory testing. 
• Understanding of Agile methodology and experience working in an Agile environment. 
• Working knowledge of test management software and SQL 
• Able to work independently with a “Can-Do” spirit and to manage time effectively.
