Network Engineer

Our client stays ahead of technology trends, providing consulting, system integration, installations, and 24/7 HelpDesk and on-site support to hospitality businesses worldwide.

About the Role - Responsibilities:

• Network Installation & Configuration
• Conduct site surveys and design LAN & wireless network infrastructure for hotel chains.
• Install, configure, and deploy network systems based on industry standards and hotel requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration with hotel management systems.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide post-installation support, identifying and resolving network issues.
• Perform real-time monitoring, diagnosing failures, and implementing preventive measures.
• Respond to urgent technical issues during standby duties.
• Infrastructure & Security Management
• Maintain and optimize network hardware and software (routers, firewalls, switches, modems, VPNs, NAS, NVR).
• Monitor system health, perform updates, and replace outdated hardware proactively.
• Implement cybersecurity measures to prevent vulnerabilities and data loss.
• Set up temporary backup systems to prevent customer disruptions in case of failures.
• Documentation & Training
• Prepare detailed technical documentation for each installation project.
• Conduct internal technical training for company employees.
• Manage and coordinate external technicians and vendors.

Qualifications - Bachelor's or Associate degree in a relevant field (Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, etc.). Proven experience in IT services and/or hospitality industry networking. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure & internet technologies, including Cisco Routers, Firewalls, DHCP, LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, Switches, Linux, NAS/NVR, and network security. Hands-on experience troubleshooting firewalls, switches, modems, and servers. Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions is a plus. Relevant industry-recognized certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are preferred. Ability to work in fast-paced environments and visit client sites for troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Willingness to travel for client visits. Ability to comply with hotel industry standards & codes of conduct. For male candidates, military service must be completed or deferred.
