C Developer

Our Client:

You will be working within a forward thinking data driven consultancy who work with some of the leading names across financial services. Their environment is highly collaboratively allowing your inputs to drive real change and make a difference with some household names. This is a permanent position where you will work on a hybrid basis depending on the end clients needs and location.

Your Role:

As a C++ Developer, you will work on developing Front Office Trading software, with a primary focus on market data development. You'll gain exposure to the entire software stack, using modern tools and concepts to create high-quality solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, architecting, and developing low latency software components in C++.
• Contributing to greenfield projects as well as enhancing existing software.
• Latency tuning and maintenance of software.
• Mentoring junior team members and providing input into the development of the team.

Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in C++ development.
• Experience in low latency development and application profiling.
• Background in Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Python, Jenkins/TeamCity, Git/SVN.
• Knowledge of Equities and Derivatives or real time financial trading platforms.
