Candidates should have experience of working with at least one major company for a decent period of time.

Design system is the site where all the clients design features are stored and the code is already completed. The candidate needs to have experience building the components to add to the design system. The Manager will be handling more of the strategy side inside of Figma while this person will be handling the code that goes into the design system.

• Proficiency in design systems design and working with development (React or equivalent)

• Proficiency in Figma, knowledge of component theming, Zeroheight and Contentful are assets

• A portfolio that demonstrates designing and contributing to high-quality design systems components for both consumer and B2B products

As a Senior Product Designer (Design System), you will partner with the digital product and engineering teams in the product discovery and development process and provide design partnerships to drive the creation of best-in-class user experiences and align UX to business outcomes, as well as increase product development velocity through a robust design system.

Specifically, you will:

• Champion design best practices across teams, raising the visibility of work and ensuring partnership with business partners.

• Evolve existing design patterns and refine the design language to support the needs of internal or external customers by creating reusable, scalable, and robust design tokens.

• Deliver design tokens and ensure consistency, quality, and excellence across lines of business.

• Navigate ambiguity by maintaining clear sources of truth documentation for the organization.

• Contribute to the improvement of design system processes, people, and outcomes across digital properties and teams.

• Work with UX research and analytics teams to inform decision-making and identify emerging issues and trends.

• Collaborate with development teams to provide design specifications, annotations, support and participate in the QA process.
