Senior Java Software Engineer

For one of our international clients, we are looking for Senior Java developer.

Job details:

• Full-time remote work for candidates based in Latvia or Lithuania.
• Senior Java Developer

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 6-12 months + extensions

Scope of Work:

Your main tasks are:

• Development of our new API’s to support our clients, fixing bugs;
• Upgrading and maintaining the operations for the backend applications;
• Looking for opportunities to improve the product;

As a developer in the squad you’ll be responsible for maintaining and developing an advantageous (user) experience on several of existing applications and services – in the cloud – which are used throughout the whole organisation. Additionally we want to accelerate the development of our services, and that’s where you come in!

• You will interact with a wide range of colleagues: business stakeholders, developers, architects, product owners.
• You love helping business go fast but you’re also good at identifying the technical debt breaking point.

Skills:

Must have:

• Java 21+
• Agile concepts
• Atlassian stack - General knowledge Jira, Confluence, bitbucket
• Spring boot 3 / Spring framework 6 - Knowledge of Web, Security, Caching, Jms
• Spring boot 3 - Nice to have > 1 years experience - Knowledge of AOP, Openfeign
• Modern web technologies - Must have - As demonstrated in recent projects HTTP, REST & JSON
• MongoDB - Must have > 3 years experience - Basic CRUD operations
• MongoDB - Nice to have > 1 years experience - Advanced CRUD operations
• As demonstrated in recent projects - Basic SQL CRUD operations
• AWS - Must have - As demonstrated in recent projects > 5 years experience
• ECS Fargate, SNS, SQS, Cloudwatch, Cloudformation, Api Gateway, Cloud Security (in general)
• Microservices - Must have > 3 years experience"
• English advanced

Nice to have:

• 1 years experience - Knowledge of aggregation framework, PostgreSQL / SQLServer
• AWS - Nice to have > 1 years experience - Lambda
