Full Stack Engineer

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (would also consider a strong Mid or even a fully frontend guy, depending on their skills) to join our innovative team. You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining our microservices architecture—comprising three backend and three frontend services. Whether you’re passionate about crafting robust backend systems or creating seamless user experiences on the frontend, this role offers a diverse set of challenges and opportunities to influence every aspect of our platform.

What You’ll Do

• Develop & Maintain: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Fastify (Node.js), BullMQ, databases: PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Frontend Excellence: Build intuitive, responsive interfaces with React, utilizing react-query, tRPC, SASS, and PrimeReact.
• Microservices Architecture: Work with our Kubernetes-managed services to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end product development, from ideation to deployment. Every person voice is heard in our startup :)
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for performance optimization, and implement improvements in both frontend and backend systems.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience & Expertise:
• Proven experience as a fullstack developer or React frontend developer.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (Fastify) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid experience with React and associated libraries (react-query, tRPC, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and job queues like BullMQ.

• DevOps & Infrastructure (OPTIONAL):
• Familiarity with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud hosting (DigitalOcean preferred).

• Technical Agility:
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and building scalable systems.
• Experience in building and consuming APIs.

• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.

• Bonus Points:
• Experience with e-learning platforms or AI-driven personalization technologies.
• Previous involvement in startup environments where adaptability and initiative are key.
