  • Location: Oxford (Hybrid - 3 days in-office)
  • Salary: £46K pro rata
  • Contract: 6-month initial contract, with intent to go permanent
  • About the Role:

Join an esteemed UK institution as they look for a Junior Java Developer to contribute to their innovative projects! You'll be working on business information systems, integrating them with other repositories, and developing/maintaining web services. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills in a dynamic environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical & development support for users
  • Keeping users informed about system changes & gathering feedback
  • Ensuring continuity of database & web server operations
  • What You Need:
  • Computer Science degree (or equivalent)
  • 1-2 years experience with Java
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, HTTP, XML & XSLT
  • Strong development testing skills
  • Willingness to commute to Oxford 3 days a week
  • Benefits:
  • £46,000 pro rata
  • Flexible Hybrid Working (Oxford) - 3 days a week onsite, 2 WFH (must include Thursdays)
