We are looking for a talented Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee project teams, ensuring successful and timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will manage resources, schedules, financials, and project risks, while ensuring full compliance with SDLC and quality control guidelines. You’ll play a key role in steering the project from start to finish, handling change requests and improving processes to drive project success.

The retail arm of our client creates personalized banking experiences for leading multinational retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of software delivery projects.
• Provide leadership and motivate the team to meet project goals and milestones.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to deployment, for major or minor initiatives.
• Ensure all projects are aligned with strategic objectives.
• Report on project success metrics, testing, and deployment activities.
• Work creatively in problem-solving, demonstrating teamwork and innovation.
• Prepare detailed project plans and estimates for all phases.
• Manage day-to-day project activities, chair meetings, and allocate resources.
• Communicate project milestones, risks, and issues across leadership.
• Ensure interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs are addressed.
• Maintain project scope, act as quality control, and assist with disputes if necessary.
• Support contract management and define Statements of Work.
• Monitor outcomes and resolve issues related to dependencies and critical deliverables.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and customers.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of project and program management principles and techniques.
  
  
  

What we expect from you:

• Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher), both written and spoken.
• Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, including Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/Waterfall.
• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
• 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
• 2+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client/business and documentation
• Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and/or Senior Leadership
• Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective
• Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate, and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment
• Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities.
• Preferably based in Poland (European residency is a must).
