The Digital and Data Solutions Team is looking for an innovative, enthusiastic, and versatile Data Reporting Specialist who will help continue to drive the Siemens Energy business forward by growing the data analytics offerings, development, and turbine fleet data supporting our vision of ???Data as a Service???.

The Data Reporting Specialist plays a crucial role in providing accurate and actionable insights to support the organization's strategic decision-making processes. How You'll Make An Impact

• Collect, analyze, and report on data sets to support decision-making and business operations
• Establish relationships with stakeholders/customers to understand their reporting requirements, to improve quality and build trust
• Facilitate reporting, support global data and business process owners for query resolution for projects and enhancements
• Find opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline data reporting processes
• Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand data reports and dashboards using data visualization tools
• Analyze and interpret relevant data, identify root causes and data quality issues, find internal and external opportunities
• Stay updated on industry standard processes and emerging technologies related to data reporting and analytics
• Build strong connections by being in the office 3 days a week
  
  

What You Bring

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization using tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Analytical mind set, as well as an inquisitive, methodical approach
• Attention to detail and an appreciation for data and process improvement
• Experience in working with large datasets and databases
• Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
