Embedded Software Engineer

Join our client's team in Eindhoven as an Embedded Software Engineer, where you will play a key role in developing next-generation 5G and RF front-end solutions. You will collaborate with a team of experts to design, develop, and optimize low-level software for high-performance communication systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for 5G wireless communication systems.
• Work on real-time embedded systems for RF front-end chips, ensuring low-latency and high-efficiency processing.
• Implement and optimize communication protocols (5G NR, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth) for seamless connectivity.
• Collaborate with hardware and RF engineers to integrate software with advanced DSP algorithms and RF hardware.
• Conduct performance analysis, debugging, and optimization to improve system stability and efficiency.
• Ensure software meets industry standards for wireless communication and embedded security.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, Linux-based systems).
• Hands-on experience with wireless communication protocols (5G NR, LTE, Wi-Fi, BLE).
• Knowledge of RF front-end architectures and DSP algorithms.
• Familiarity with low-power embedded system design and optimization.
• Experience with hardware debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Understanding of communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, PCIe, Ethernet).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML acceleration in wireless applications.
• Knowledge of software-defined radio (SDR) and FPGA-based implementations.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Python for signal processing and simulation.
• Experience with secure embedded programming (TPM, cryptography for wireless communication).
