Business Systems Analyst

This is with one of our Banking client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Running meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and chase down signoffs
• Running solution design meetings with engineers and solution architects
• Working with data producers (internal systems team) and vendors (eg. MSCI, S&P, etc.) to understanding data availability, structure, and metadata
• Mapping source datasets into unified data product form
• Creating requirements and solution documentation
• Creating and managing priority of JIRA tickets relating to the project
• Develop data quality and consumption monitoring

What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role?

• SQL/Python Skills (Proficient / Analyst Level)
• ETL tools
• Jupyter notebooks
• Snowflake
• PySpark

Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years experience as a business systems analyst is preferred (open to candidates with 8-9 years of experience)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related field.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Wealth Management Asset experience
• Certifications in Data
