Frontend Developer

Role

We are seeking to recruit a talented Front-end Javascript to join our dedicated development team in Buenos Aires, someone with broad experience working in world-class software projects.

You will be part of a small and dynamic team. As a Web Developer, you will work on the development of marketing landing pages and other tools related to ad campaigns. You will be part of the development at every step of the way: analysis, innovation, programming, testing, releasing, monitoring and if necessary redesign and refactoring. We are looking for a good developer, you are a solutions-oriented and an extremely organised person. You are able to plan the project development and respect deadlines. You learn fast. You are passionate about your work and thrive on working within a just as demanding passionate and talented team.

Our desired candidates should have a passion for delivering great user experiences, while always trying to improve the development process using the technology that better suits the project.

Responsibilities

• Architect the project from scratch selecting the right tools for the job.
• Write reusable code and libraries.
• Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation.
• Define how the application looks and how it works.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.
• Actively seek to learn and improve the company, department, team, and themselves.
• Contribute and adhere to best practices in software development.
• Work closely with other software developers in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience working as a front-end developer.
• 2+ years experience developing applications against RESTful APIs.
• 2+ years using modern JavaScript.
• Experience with performance tuning, profiling, and debugging javascript applications.
• Proven experience with Laravel framework.
• Experience building reusable UX components or libraries.
• Experience with task automation (NPM, Gulp).
• Experience with SASS/LESS or other CSS preprocessors.
• Experience with Git, Jira and Agile Methodologies working in multi-developer teams and CI/CD.
• Other desirable skills: UX/UI Best practices, MySQL, Redis, Unit Testing, Responsive Design.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good English language and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field required.
