About you

We're seeking a Senior Engineer .NET to join our innovative team and help drive our technology initiatives forward. As our Senior Engineer .NET, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable applications using cutting-edge .NET technologies. You'll work with both SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases, leveraging the power of .NET 8 to create efficient, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance enterprise-level applications using .NET 8 and C#.
• Design and implement database solutions using SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in .NET development, with recent experience in .NET 8.
• Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Extensive experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and optimization.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles.
• Experience with API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, or React).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and cloud architecture.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Other items required:

• Australian working rights for at least 3 years.
• Must be willing to undertake a National Police Check.
• Ability to work from our office in Varsity Lakes, QLD.
