About you

As our Senior Software Engineer - React, you'll be at the forefront of our technological innovation, implementing new features and driving system improvements. You'll play a crucial role in scaling our engineering team while maintaining a balance between rapid iteration and system stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance product features using React.js, React Native, and Node.js/TypeScript.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and modular systems.
• Contribute to the growth and development of our engineering team.
• Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in building and maintaining robust, scalable web and mobile applications.
• Mastery of React and Node using TypeScript; familiarity with frameworks like Next.js.
• Experience with Redux and Saga for managing side effects.
• Expert proficiency in HTML/CSS.
• Demonstrated proficiency with databases such as MongoDB, and Redis.
• Experience with APIs and GraphQL, both as a consumer and provider.
• Track record of solving complex business problems through innovative technical solutions.
• Experience working in fast-paced, scale-up environments.
• Comfortable with CI/CD practices and methodologies.

Highly regarded:

• Experience with Node.js for server-side development.
• Familiarity with MongoDB for database management.
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud deployment.

Other items required:

• Australian working rights for at least 3 years.
• Must be willing to undertake a National Police Check.
• Ability to work from our office in Varsity Lakes, QLD.
