Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an AWS or Azure DevOps in Westlake, TX. Key Tasks:

  • Bring stability and efficiencies to Squads and Operations to accelerate development life cycle
  • An automation mentality to drive platform stability approaches
  • Streamlining processes, optimizing workflows, introducing new features with positive business impacts
  • Bring together technical, procedural, and financial data to reduce toil and increase efficiency
  • Execute plans for technical standardization and process refinement within the Stability and Automation engineering organization, especially for Operations and Squads
  • Must bring flawless execution and results in role of organizational navigator and collaborator
  • Actively learning, sharing insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments, within your area of expertise
  • Impactful, with a passion for contributing to continuing enhancement of our engineering capabilities with a focus on excellence

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience working in sophisticated production environment, on-Prem and Cloud
  • Must have full understanding of the ITIL practices to support the day-to-day operations and engineering organization
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines stacks like GitHub, Jenkins, CloudBees CI, Ansible, Maven, JUnit, Docker, JMeter, Artifactory, Sonar, Reportportal, Sealights, Kubernetes, Xray, Playwright
  • Hands-on Experience with Public Cloud environments, preferably AWS and Azure
  • Experience with monitoring systems such as CloudWatch, Catchpoint, Datadog/Splunk, ELK stack
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, AKS, EKS and ECS
  • Hands on experience to build pipeline for Database and Power BI deployments, Delphix virtualization, Manage icedq infrastructure and Windows Jenkins agent
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python, Groovy, Unix scripting or related programming languages
  • Able to contribute to the improvement of the incident response process based on lessons learned
  • Capability to partner with Operations and Stakeholders on stability opportunities based upon reporting/trending findings as well as operational readiness
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies to support day to day operations
  • Customer orientated personality exhibiting professionalism and enthusiasm

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
