Product Owner Supporting Digital Transformation of Compliance Processes

Job Description
Risk & Compliance Tribe brings together business and IT professionals into cross-functional squads and enables us to work in a truly agile organization. Each of these squads is self-organized teams empowering its employees to take their own decisions while working on the end-to-end delivery of products and services.
We are aiming at transforming the way we develop Risk and Compliance in the Bank; therefore, we are looking for an experienced Product Owner who has a continuous improvement mindset and is willing to drive the transformation in this area.
The Product Owner we are looking for will lead a squad that will focus on digital transformation of priorities primarily within the Compliance domain. As a squad you will engage with stakeholders to understand their processes and where digital solutions can make an impact just like you will focus on optimising your existing system portfolio. The squad consists of 10 talented IT and business professionals located across Lithuania and India.
The workplace is located either in Vilnius or Copenhagen. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).
Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you a different seniority for the role.

This position can be located both in Denmark and Lithuania. If the position is located in Lithuania the monthly salary range will be from 5200 EUR to 7880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

You will:
- Set direction for your squad and contribute to achieving the mission of the Risk & Compliance Tribe
- Help, guide and empower your squad to deliver on our high priority deliverables which will support the digital transformation journey of key Compliance processes
- Align priorities and objectives by proactively interacting with a large and complex stakeholder landscape
- Align and collaborate closely with other Product Owners within and outside of the Risk & Compliance Tribe
- Foster an empowering environment that values diversity, inclusion, teamwork, and Agile way of working
- 5+ years of Experience working as a Product Owner with strong understanding of software lifecycle management
- Experience working closely with software engineers, business analysts, and business leadership to define product vision and strategy across product areas
- Strategic mindset and ability to build long term direction together with stakeholders
- Ability to progressively lead the team towards delivery, ensuring daily advancements towards project goals
- Advanced stakeholder management skills, and an ability to navigate in a large and complex business
- Experience with third party vendor processes is a benefit
- Experience in working with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) would be considered as a beneficial asset
- Upper-Intermediate English skills, both written and spoken
We offer:
