Information Security Engineer (m/f)

Experis IT Luxembourg is actively looking for an Information Security Engineer (m/f) for one of its clients in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities

• Assist organizational units in overseeing their cybersecurity evaluations by organizing, recording, conveying, and addressing concerns from internal representatives and auditing entities.
• Monitor audit outcomes, devise corrective strategies, and ensure their execution.
• Track cybersecurity performance indicators and service-level agreements, providing regular reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Aid in the creation and upkeep of information security management systems (ISMS).
• Contribute to the formulation of risk governance policies and operational procedures.
• Conduct thorough risk analyses to identify potential security threats.
• Support the establishment and execution of third-party security assessment procedures.

Your profile

• Degree in IT, or any related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in cybersecurity risk, governance, and compliance.
• In-depth understanding of security frameworks, regulatory mandates, risk evaluation techniques, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001/ ISO 27002, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls).
• Possession of relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor.
• Experience working with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms.
• Fluent in English. Any other language would be an asset.
