Presales Engineer – Telecom & Connectivity (m/f)

Experis IT Luxembourg is looking for a Presales Engineer – Telecom & Connectivity (m/f) for one of its clients in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities

• Support commercial teams in detecting and qualifying connectivity‑related opportunities.
• Shape tailored network solutions that align with the operational and strategic priorities of large organizations.
• Lead technical exchanges with customers through workshops, deep‑dive sessions, and solution walkthroughs.
• Prepare structured offers including technical proposals, pricing elements, and responses to formal requests.
• Translate architectures into clear business‑oriented value propositions.
• Contribute to commercial strategy by strengthening differentiation and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with internal experts to validate feasibility, performance, and profitability of proposed solutions.
• Participate in methodology improvement by enhancing tools, processes, and presales practices.
• Perform technical assessments such as infrastructure reviews, capacity analyses, and resilience evaluations.
• Work on advanced connectivity domains including optical transport, WAN technologies (MPLS, VPN, SD‑WAN), hybrid architectures, managed network services, cloud interconnects, secure remote access, and high‑availability designs.

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a proactive approach and strong interest in enterprise connectivity.
• Experience in presales or consulting within telecom, ICT, or network‑related environments.
• Solid understanding of WAN technologies and enterprise‑grade connectivity concepts.
• Ability to link business needs to solutions and articulate clear recommendations.
• Strong communication abilities for interacting with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Analytical and structured approach with a focus on problem‑solving.
• Ease working with diverse stakeholders across technical and business domains.
• Team spirit and ownership with a reliable and accountable attitude.
• Relevant academic background in telecom, engineering, IT, business, or similar fields.
• Motivation and curiosity for learning new technologies and engaging with customers.
• Fluent French and English, with Luxembourgish or German considered valuable assets.
