System Engineer

We are looking for a System Engineer for a freelance project in Stockholm working for a Swedish Energy Client based in Stockholm,

Duration: 12 months + Extensions

Station location: Stockholm (50% remote/50% onsite)

Pay Rate: Negotiable

English Speaking Accepted (Swedish a plus)

Scope: 100%

Daily Responsibilities:

• Provide deep technical expertise and insights in battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Collaborate with a team of specialists to develop and optimize battery storage solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and provide strategic recommendations for project implementation.
• Support the design, integration, and operation of advanced energy storage technologies.
• Analyze and enhance system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in battery technologies and energy storage solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Several years of experience in the energy sector, with a strong focus on battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Strong knowledge of battery technologies, power electronics, and energy management systems.
• Experience working with complex energy projects and integrating storage solutions.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with grid integration, renewable energy, and power systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
• Background in R&D, system modeling, or performance optimization of battery systems.
