As a Senior System Validation Engineer, you'll be an integral part of our ModusToolbox project. ModusToolbox™ is a cutting-edge, extensible development environment designed to support a broad spectrum of Infineon microcontroller devices. This innovative platform offers a versatile suite of tools and a rich, high-quality repository of application-centric software components. These include intuitive configuration tools, low-level drivers, libraries, and operating system support, all seamlessly compatible with Linux, macOS, and Windows-hosted environments.

In your new role, you will

• Be responsible for developing automated tests for ModusToolbox software and QT applications (ex: Library Manager, Project Creator, etc.)
• Take part in new test methodologies and test systems development
• Perform test feasibility and planning tasks
• Collaborate with other colleagues from different expert areas, namely software, digital hardware, operations, and marketing
• Test case automation via writing scripts in Python
• Debug issues and triage the failures
• Support Quality Reporting
• Enable continuous improvement and innovation
• Define test strategy and have test ownership of projects during their execution
• Work in Agile teams and execute assigned tasks during sprints
  
  

You are a meticulous and passionate individual with a strong affinity for software development. While you have a solid foundation in Python, you are eager to leverage your accumulated experience to drive meaningful impact.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A University degree in Computer science, Microelectronics or similar fields of study
• At least 3 years of experience in Software/Firmware development or QA automation
• Programming skills in Python
• Experience with Test Planning, Test Case Development, and Test Methodologies
• Knowledge of bug-tracking tools (like Jira) and debugging methods
• Scripting language experience in Bash is a plus
• Good English level
