JOB DESCRIPTION

In close collaboration with the Design and Engineering team of the Competence Centre Flying Material and Communication and Information Systems (CC V&C) in Peutie, you will work within the domain of network technology on the preparation and design phase of a major WAN redesign and upgrade. As a Senior Network Architect, you will play an essential role in realizing this project by providing technical expertise and support during the design and migration phase. You will focus on network optimization and security and contribute to the creation of a scalable, reliable infrastructure. You must be prepared to work in a technically challenging and secure environment and to undergo a security verification (minimum national/EU confidential level).

Details:

Expertise in Network Migration: Proven expertise in migrating an IP/MPLS network to segment routing and EVPN, using Nokia SR/SAR/PSS equipment.

Quality of Service (QoS): Extensive knowledge in the field of QoS, enabling you to optimize network performance for different applications and user needs.

Security Clearance: You hold or are willing to obtain a security clearance, at least at national/EU confidential level.

Cisco SD Access and Aruba SD Branch: Knowledge and experience with these technologies are a plus and can contribute to the flexibility of the network solutions.

Accuracy and Detail: Work accurately and in detail, ensuring that all deliverables meet the high quality standards required by the project.

Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, clearly explaining complex network concepts to different stakeholders.

Adaptability: Able to adapt to changing technical demands and environments, and willing to learn and apply new tools and technologies.
