We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to support the development, deployment, and monitoring of AI models within the Predictive Analytics team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Python development, MLOps, and data engineering, with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.


Responsibilities


  • Manage and enhance the execution and quality assurance of monthly AI model production runs, from data preparation to scoring and validation.
  • Maintain and improve existing Python programs for data collection, validation, AI model scoring, and performance monitoring.
  • Act as an interface between data scientists and IT, ensuring smooth use of the Domino Data Science Platform and AI building blocks.
  • Assist data scientists in identifying and installing correct dependencies, ensuring best practices for code quality, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support data engineering tasks, including creating new variables and automating model refitting.
  • Explore new ways to optimize AI tools and technologies to enhance model performance and deployment capabilities.
  • Collaborate with a motivated team of data scientists, sharing expertise and driving innovation.


Requirements


  • At least 3 years of experience in machine learning engineering, data engineering, or MLOps.
  • Strong expertise in Python development and data science libraries (pandas, sklearn).
  • Experience with Git, bash scripting, SQL, and MLOps/DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAS, Domino Data Science Platform, Django, and software testing is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; good command of Dutch is required, with French as a plus.
  • Degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, or equivalent experience in data science and ML DevOps.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a proactive and result-driven approach.
