They are seeking a visionary and accomplished Director of Data and AI to lead their advanced analytics and artificial intelligence initiatives.

Position Overview: We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our client's team as the Director of Data and AI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and AI, coupled with a proven track record of driving successful data-driven strategies in a consulting environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, develop innovative solutions, and provide thought leadership in the realm of data and AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and AI initiatives for clients across various industries.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning models.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in data science, AI, and advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align data and AI strategies with overall business objectives.
• Manage and mentor a team of data scientists, engineers, and AI specialists.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
• Ensure the highest standards of data governance, security, and ethical AI practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Minimum of 10 years in client facing external consulting work at a comparable business to a Big 4 consultancy.
• Proven track record of successfully leading data and AI projects in a consulting or corporate environment.
• Strong expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning algorithms, and AI technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business processes and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to drive business development initiatives.
