Right now, we are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in helping us uncover patterns, trends, and insights that drive business decisions.

As a Data Analyst for Telia Finance, you have a great passion for understanding financing business principles and how analytics play a strategic role in supporting it. To achieve analytical goals, you will need to show strong technical and logical thinking skills in working with structured and semi structured data to improve data quality, provide valuable business insights as well as be good communicator.

By applying various statistical and analytical techniques, such as exploratory, inferential, and diagnostic analysis, you will discover new trends and investigate potential causes. Additionally, you will work with databases, programming languages, and data visualization tools to present your findings in a clear and concise manner, ensuring effective communication for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, organize, and interpret large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and underlying causes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define and test business hypotheses using data-driven insights.
• Apply statistical and analytical techniques, including exploratory, inferential, and diagnostic analysis, to discover new trends and identify potential causes.
• Utilize databases, programming languages, and data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and concise manner for effective decision-making.

To be successful in this role, we believe you have great experience in data exploration, insights generation and ensuring good data governance. You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, explore, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information with accuracy and attention to details while maintaining the focus into what is the most important. We believe you are driven and proactively pursing new ideas and opportunities to improve business through data-driven approach.

Telia Finance is a company regulated by the Financial Supervisory Authority and is subject to specific accounting and regulatory requirements. These roles require at least one year of experience in a credit market company or a similar field.

Key competencies:

• Strong skills of data modelling, transformation and exploration using SQL, BI tools and/or Python.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Qlik Sense (preferred), Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar.
• Cloud platform experience, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform
• Background from working in a financial company or credit market company
• Experience with data quality improvement along with data governance initiatives.
• Experience with databases, programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Bachelor or higher degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or related discipline.
• Experience from working in agile development teams is a plus.
• Fluent skills in Swedish language
