Graphic Designer

All Things Rugby is looking for a skilled Graphic Designer passionate about sports-themed design. The ideal candidate should excel in various design tools, particularly in social media design, video editing, and UI design. Here's what we're looking for:

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to design and produce visual content that aligns with the brand, including social media posts, digital templates, UI designs, and marketing advertisements.
• Develop images, illustrations, infographics, and other graphic artwork.
• Conduct research for design inspiration and stay up-to-date on the latest trends, especially those related to rugby.
• Brainstorm creative ideas with team members and contribute to content updates.
• Ensure deadlines are met through effective coordination with the team.
• Comfortably translate complex information and ideas into a variety of designs and edits.
• Have a distinct visual style, confidently articulate it to the team, and actively participate in design critiques and constructive feedback sessions.

Requirements:

Social Media Design:

• High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
• Create visually appealing social media designs using Photoshop and develop digital templates using InDesign.
• Utilize InDesign's data merging feature for efficient design variations.

UI Design:

• Proficient in Figma for intuitive mobile and web UI designs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to convey design concepts effectively.
• Understand responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across different devices.

Video Editing & Animation:

• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and VFX effects.
• Ability to create engaging, sports-related video content.

Sports Graphic Design:

• Design graphics that capture the energy and excitement of sports.
• Strong understanding of sports imagery, typography, and branding.
• Experience in creating sports-themed promotional materials and merchandise.

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to new tools, including AI.
• A diverse portfolio showcasing expertise in social media graphics, UI design, video editing, animation, and sports-themed designs.
