Assistant Accountant (EU)

Laravel is looking for an ambitious and adaptable Assistant Accountant to join our fully remote Laravel Finance Team. For this role, we're only considering applications in the EU time zone, preferably from candidates based in Ireland or the UK. Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reports and analyses to various departments
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
• Prepare various bank account reconciliations
• Manage prepaids and accruals
• Analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
• Manage the accounts payable inbox and weekly payment runs
• Assist with financial audits
• Assist with tax filings
• Help with process creation and documentation
• FP&A and strategic finance projects
• Other ad-hoc projects
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field
• Previous accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Highly detail oriented and organized
• Excels in learning quickly and taking ownership of own development
• Ability to be proactive and a problem solver
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
