Full-Stack JavaScript Developer (relocation to Belgium)

We are looking for a Full-Stack JavaScript (Node + React + Typescript) Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team based in Brussels, Belgium.

Your Role

As a Full-Stack JavaScript Developer, you will:

• Collaborate with your team to improve existing solutions and develop innovative approaches to new projects.
• Take full ownership of tasks—from requirements analysis to implementation, testing, and delivery.
• Work in a collaborative Agile environment, participating in two-week sprints and all associated ceremonies.
• Stay updated on banking, trading, and the latest technologies to contribute actively to the squad's goals.
• Focus on clean coding practices, balancing attention to detail with a pragmatic approach.

Your Team:

You will join the Trading, Investing & Saving Team (TISA), responsible for managing our trading platform and financial products. This multidisciplinary team consists of:

• Frontend & backend developers
• Business analysts
• DevOps engineers
• Product owners
• Testers
• Scrum masters

Together, the team follows Scrum methodology with a clear focus on delivering high-value solutions while maintaining flexibility and efficiency.

Your Profile

We’re looking for passionate candidates with a dynamic and collaborative mindset who are eager to take responsibility and innovate.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• A degree in a technical field or 5–7 years of experience in JavaScript full-stack development with a heavy focus on Node.js & TypeScript.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and functional requirements.
• Experience working in Scrum teams and an excellent understanding of Agile development practices.
• A passion for staying updated on new technologies and applying your knowledge to drive innovation.

Required Skills

Frontend Technologies

• React.js with Styled-Components.
• React Native with Styled-Components.
• Knowledge of Micro Frontend Architecture.

Backend Technologies

• Node.js in TypeScript.
• Familiarity with TypeORM or similar modern Object-Relational Mappers.
• API design expertise with experience in REST or gRPC.
• Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger for API documentation.

DevOps & Infrastructure Awareness

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Understanding of AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, ECS, etc.).
