🔎We are looking for a JAVA Backend Developer

MAIN TASKS:

In this role, you will need to do developments of maintenance and evolution features, ensure code quality and performance, and actively participate in the technical solutions definition to be discussed with the team

Develop and maintain backend services

- Design, implement and maintain scalable and efficient backend features using Java

Code quality and testing

- Write clean and maintainable code

- Ensure code performance, scalability and reliability respecting the agreed best practices

- Implement unit, integration and performance testing

Collaboration and Agile development

- Work closely with frontend devs, business analysts and testers

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

API and Services development and integration

- Design and develop APIs

- Design and develop (micro)services using Java Spring frameworks

Database Management

- Write/maintain efficient queries

- Migration from database procedures to Java code

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

• JAVA programming and frameworks (Java 8+, Spring, …)
• Testing (Junit, Testcontainers, Mockito, …) and code quality (SonarQube, …)
• Versions control and agile development (Git, GitLab, Agile/Scrum, …)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible, …)
• API Development (RESTFul APIs, Swagger, …)
• Fluent in English (mandatory)
• Hybrid role based in Porto or Lisbon
