We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior HR Generalist with 5 to 8 years of HR experience to join our Transformation and talent (T&T) dynamic team. The ideal candidate must feel comfortable with the ability to wear multiple hats, manage diverse HR functions, and partner with stakeholders to drive HR initiatives across the organization.

What we do.  Build38 is a cyber security tech company that ensures the utmost protection of mobile apps. We enable all sorts of organizations - from car manufacturers to banks, from public transit operators to identity providers - to deliver their mobile app use cases securely. We already protect millions of Android and iOS endpoints with our SDK which, together with our backend analytics platform, provides the most comprehensive mobile app security solution in the market. 


Here is a little taste of your challenge:


HR Operations & Administration:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of all HR processes.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices in line with company goals and legal compliance.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR systems and databases (e.g., payroll, benefits, employee files).


Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and create strategies for attracting top talent.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to attract diverse talent in line with company culture and values.


Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive work environment by implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR best practices, performance management, and development plans.


Performance Management:

  • Lead the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely evaluations and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with coaches and stakeholders to create development programs, succession planning, and training initiatives.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Administer employee compensation, benefits, and incentive programs, ensuring competitiveness within the market.
  • Conduct market research and benchmark studies to ensure salary ranges align with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the external agency on payroll and budgeting.


Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Handle sensitive HR matters such as investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics, reports, and dashboards to inform decision-making and HR strategies to stakeholders.


HR Strategy & Projects:

  • Support the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes, culture, and employee experience.


Who are you? There is no set route to become part Build38. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:


  • Advisable Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications are a plus.
  • 5-8 years of experience in HR, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment where managing a variety of HR functions was essential.
  • Advanced/fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development).
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle various HR tasks with a high level of autonomy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities.
