We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the newly formed Process Automation Team. For the past 4 to 5 years, BMI Group has undergone significant transformation across all functions. There is inherent technical debt, a lack of adherence to process which has inhibited BMI to gain value and speed in back office processes.

Your job as a Business Analyst will be to identify use cases across the GBS that can be automated using tools like Celonis and UiPath for the Finance business towers. This role requires a seasoned professional to capture requirements and bridge the gap between technical and business needs.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Process Analysis and Improvement:

• Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for automation
• Develop detailed process maps and documentation to illustrate current workflows and identify improvement opportunities
• Conduct process analysis workshops and deep dives with key business subject matter experts and Process Owners and Tower Leads
  
  

Automation Solutions Development

• Collaborate with IT and the automation development teams to design, develop, and implement process automation solutions
• Understands and works with tools such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Business Process Management (BPM) software, and other automation technologies
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with business units to gather and define requirements for automation projects
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for proposed automation solutions
  
  

Project Management

• Lead and manage automation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  
  

Performance Measurement And Reporting

• Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of automated processes as part of the business case
• Prepare and present reports on process automation outcomes and benefits to senior management
  
  

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in process automation technologies
• Proactively seek opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in business processes
• Be seen as the first point of contact for all process automation submissions / inquiries
  
  

About You

• 5+ years in a similar cross-functional engineering roles
• Experience in process mapping, analysis, and optimization
• Strong knowledge of automation tools (Celonis Automate, UiPath)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Agile/Scrum experience
• 3rd party vendor management (Service Integrators, Consultancies)

• Background in construction or manufacturing
• Process automation certification (e.g., RPA Developer)
• SAP S4/Hana experience
• Leadership and team management skills
• Experience with nearshore/offshore GBS centers

Salary ranges from 4000 to 4700 euro gross depending on your experience.
