Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in Nordic Semiconductor platforms to work on firmware development, power optimization, and secure wireless communication projects. Our client is based in Stockholm, Sweden and onsite or hybrid work are possible.

In this role, you will develop and optimize firmware for Nordic Semiconductor platforms, focusing on low-power wireless communication (BLE, Thread, Zigbee, LTE-M/NB-IoT). Working with RTOS or bare-metal systems, you'll optimize performance and efficiency.

Desired skills and experience:

• Strong experience in embedded software development (C/C++, assembly)
• Hands-on expertise with Nordic Semiconductor chips (nRF52, nRF53, nRF91)
• Experience with BLE (Bluetooth 5.x), Thread, Zigbee, or cellular IoT (LTE-M, NB-IoT)

Considered a plus if you have one or more of the following:

• Proficiency with Nordic SDKs, nRF Connect, and RF debugging tools
• Familiarity with sensor integration (I2C, SPI, UART) and wireless coexistence challenges
• Experience with IoT security (TLS, DTLS, Secure Boot, encryption)
