You would be the Firewall Specialist in a Security Operations Center (SOC), responsible for managing and optimizing firewall environments, ensuring the highest levels of security for enterprise-class customers.

This is a hands-on, technical role requiring expertise in Palo Alto and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls. Experience with Check Point and Cisco firewalls is a plus.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Firewall administration, including rule deployment and hardware/software refresh

✔ Identifying emerging security risks and implementing proactive solutions

✔ Collaborating with customers, IT teams, and vendors to optimize network security

✔ Monitoring firewall performance and applying security patches

✔ Conducting security assessments, vulnerability scans, and network optimizations

✔ Creating security reports, dashboards, and alerts for customer environments

✔ Participating in on-call rotations and business continuity planning

What You Bring:

✔ 5+ years of hands-on firewall experience (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, Juniper)

✔ Strong experience in policy management and rule deployment

✔ Deep understanding of security protocols (SSL, DNS, IPSEC, NAT, etc.)

✔ Experience in Web Application Firewalls (F5, Zscaler)

✔ Certifications preferred: CCSA, CCSE, CCNA, CCNP Security, PCNSA, PCNSE, NSE 4/5, Security+

✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
