Embedded Software Engineer

We’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with RISC-V expertise to develop cutting-edge avionics, satellite systems, and secure embedded platforms. Join our client in Stockholm and work on state-of-the-art aerospace technology!

About the Role:

Develop and optimize real-time embedded software for RISC-V-based aerospace systems. Work on low-level firmware, bootloaders, and real-time operating systems (RTOS). Implement secure and fault-tolerant computing architectures for mission-critical applications. Develop software for satellite communication, radar systems, and avionics control. Ensure compliance with safety and security standards. Optimize software for low-power, high-performance, and radiation-hardened environments.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in embedded software development (C/C++, assembly)
• Deep understanding of RISC-V architecture (toolchains, ISA extensions, security features)
• Experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr, VxWorks) or bare-metal programming

Considered a plus if you have one or more of the following:

• Knowledge of hardware-software co-design, SoC architectures, and FPGAs
• Familiarity with aerospace communication protocols (MIL-STD-1553, SpaceWire, CANaerospace)
• Experience with cybersecurity and encryption in embedded systems
