Lead Data Software Engineer/Data Solution Architect

We're on the hunt for an exceptional Lead Data Software Engineer/Data Solution Architect to join our project in the automotive industry. They specialize in developing cutting-edge recon software designed to streamline paperwork, streamline processes, and provide immediate business operations insights. At the heart of their mission, they aim to offer the most dynamic, user-friendly technology for your automotive reconditioning business.

In this unique role, you will embody the roles of both an architect and an engineer. As an Architect, your role will be integral in designing schemas and pipelines, outlining transformations, and planning efficient data insertion into an analytical-focused relational structure. As an Engineer, you will bring these designs to life, building an effective and efficient system, leveraging your development skills for optimal data processing.

Currently, our data is sourced from a MongoDB dump residing in Snowflake, any experience in this area will be beneficial.

This position is an excellent opportunity for those looking to apply their dual skills of engineering and architecture, significantly contributing to the successful operations of our client's business.

Responsibilities

• Design schemas and pipelines
• Develop and enforce an efficient structure for data insertion

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake
• Experience in Star or Snowflake schema design
• Proficient in data warehousing, analytics, and data modeling
• Experience in cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for analysis
  
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience with a Business Intelligence tool (Domo preferred)
• Experience with MongoDB
